Reiki Healing

Reiki (pronounced “Ray-Key”) means “universal life force.”  It is a healing technique, originating in Japan, and works with the subtle energy of the body to help restore, balance and rejuvenate the body, mind and spirit. By a gentle “laying of hands” on or above the body, the universal life energy flows through the practitioner to the client, helping to create a balanced flow of energies, thus enhancing health and healing.

A Reiki healing session is very relaxing.  The client remains clothed, and receives the treatment by lying comfortably and listening to soothing meditative music. Effects may be felt immediately, or may unfold over time, addressing the needs of body, mind and spirit.

A Reiki treatment is wonderful on its own, and can also be incorporated into a massage session.  A good way to learn about Reiki is to experience a treatment!
